If you have seen before sunrise you know that a conversation with Ethan is always interesting, now imagine a book written by him. This book is basically the last letter Written by a knight in the evening before his final battle, fearing he may not return alive. He wants to teach his kids everything he knows, life lessons on gratitude, friendship, forgiveness, justice, discipline, faith, love, death). It’s a short guide to what gives life meaning and beauty. He draws on the ancient teachings of Eastern and Western philosophy, gives advice on how to be a good and noble person taken from a letter written in the fifteenth century and handed down across generations. I loved the cover tho it makes look like it has been around for decades.
