Rio, the man you are 🥹💫 Rewind it back hat es im Ranking auf den zweiten Platz geschafft, ganz knapp hinter Caught Up. Ich kann mittlerweile stolz behaupten, dass ich Second Chance großartig finde!!!! Diese dauerhaften Vergleiche mit der einen richtigen Person, an die es kein anderes Date jemals heranschafft. Der Herzschmerz zweier für einander schlagenden Herzen, die nicht zusammen sind weil sie sich gegenseitig verletzen. Oder schützen? 🥹 Ich LIEBE LIEBE LIEBE es, dass Liz Tomforde kein unnötiges Drama einbaut, nur um am Ende vielleicht noch mal am Spannungsbogen zu reißen. Das braucht es einfach nicht (in den seltensten Fällen btw 👀). Keine Misskommunikation, die einfach nur nervt beim lesen. Rio und Hallie haben sich verloren und auf die schönste Art wiedergefunden. WOW ♥️ Über die Freundes Gruppe werde ich nie müde zu sprechen. I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE!!!!

Hab diese Reihe einfach nur verschlungen. Könnte heulen, dass es jetzt einfach zu Ende ist… ein must read!!!

i really am a sucker for second chance and childhood best friends romances 😮‍💨 i've waited so long for rios storys and it didn't disappoint. in fact, i think rewind it back is my second favorite story after caught up!! i loved rio the way i have loved him since the beginning anf hallie also got into my heart very quickly. i loved their chemistry, in the past and also in the present. i also loved that not half the book was about them holding grudges, it was rather them still loving each other but being cautios because they both broke each others hearts. i loved how they found to each other again and can we please talk about how even after breaking his heart, rio still dedicated everything to her? i LOVE this man and that's the kind of yearning i need!! i really liked that both of them had a lot of depth and after reading the acknowledgements, hallies backstory hurts even more. still, i liked that they were there for each other the whole time and nobody had to go through it alone. what i most likey loved the most tho was that all strings came together and we got bits and pieces from each and every character. this series really made me fall in love with the found family trope because it is done so perfectly. the girls night, the sunday meals.. it was perfect and heartwarming. i'm so sad that i have to leave this world behind after the spin off for monty (i really hope we will have cameos for every couple tho!) but i think (and pray) that we can read more from her soon. i have an inkling that maybe her new series will be about the cruz family? idk, we will see, i'm happy either way. ♡

Diesen Teil mochte ich am liebsten.🥹💕 Die Geschichte von Rio und Hallie hat mich wirklich sehr berührt. Es war so schön zu lesen, dass nun auch der Rio, der im Laufe der Reihe immer zu kurz kommt und zum Teil belächelt wird, sich selbst vergibt und sein Glück findet. Irgendwie habe ich mich manchmal auch selbst in Rio gesehen. Es war sehr angenehm, dass auch dieser Protagonist eine gewisse Charaktertiefe erhalten hat und dass sich die Probleme und Themen offenbaren mit denen er zu kämpfen hatte-vor allem weil wir ihn in den vorherigen Teilen ja eher als sorglosen, vergnügten Charakter kennengelernt haben. Ich fand es ein sehr gelungenes Ende für die Reihe.
