Regretting You is not for everyone. I can understand why some people may not like it — it can feel boring at times, and there are unfinished storylines. We never truly find out the details and the truth about what exactly happened. How and when did the affair between a loving husband and your sister begin? How long had they been lying to me? How could they look me in the eye after all that? What was written in those letters? Morgan could ask these questions herself — and so could the readers — but we won’t get any answers. It just boils our blood, that sweet unknown. We can create theories, but we’ll never know for sure. It was most painfully frustrating to see the injustice Morgan got from her daughter, who believed that Morgan had an affair with Jonah, her sister’s husband. I was furious. I wanted to shake Clara and scream the truth into her face. I honestly didn’t understand Morgan. How could she be so selfless and, even after everything that happened, still try to protect Chris’s and Jenna’s reputation in front of Clara — even if it meant that Clara thought she was the bad guy? Obviously, I can’t fully understand this, because I’m far from being that good of a person. But if you think about it twice, it does make sense. It was also sooo heartbreaking to see that Morgan and Jonah had already accepted that they were never going to be together and that their love would never be fulfilled — because for them, respect and love for others were stronger. Not like Chris and Jenna, who were far too weak. It’s sad that they had to die so Morgan and Jonah could finally find their way to each other. However, I found Clara very annoying, and I didn’t like her character at all. I agree that she was just a typical, irritating teenager with a huge trauma to deal with. Aaand then we also get Miller — the guy every woman craves. The man who has had a crush on you for sooo long and tries to bury it deep inside himself because he thinks he has no chance with a woman like you. Of course… where is my Miller? I also want a man who loves me so unconditionally and admires every part of me. That’s all, folks.
Fesselndes Familiendrama. Es wurde nichts ausgelassen. Super zu lesen und sehr Nachbar
