Private detective Regan Reilly heads to Las Vegas to help a friend who is producing a reality TV show with married couples who are vying for a chance to renew their vows in a wedding-cake-shaped hot air balloon. At the height of the nine-day Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, Regan finds the festivities threatened by saboteurs and winds her way through a host of pilots, balloonists, tourists, and merchants.
