I can’t describe how much I love Sally Rooney books
"My love for him felt so total and so annihilating that it was often impossible for me to see him clearly at all." Wow. That was just infatuating. Even though this is a short story, reading it feels like reading a whole novel because Sally Rooney just manages to write something that draws you in after the first sentence, a story with such complexity, especially of the two main characters, so that a 20 pages book suddenly feels like it’s 300 pages long. This book captures love, unrequited love and life so appositely and makes the most complex situations and questions of life feel so casual and human. This is for sure a book that will leave me thinking about it for quite some time.
