Rezension von LennyReads2 ⭐️ I liked the slowburn aspect. There wasn't much plot, but that's okay for the story itself. At some points I enjoyed the relationship between the two, but that changed from moment to moment. He gave massive obsessive stalker vibes and that was a big no-no for me. If it wasnt for that and the whole storyline behind it, I would have rated it way higher. The only line that stuck to me: ,Rough life, stalker life’ - not a good sign I guess.

Rezension von LuciaThis book was so beautiful. Rose and Jack have my heart. *cries* I loved every part of this book from the beginning to the end. It was just the perfect amount of fluff and angst. The tension. The slow burn. It couldn’t possibly be written better! I laughed, I was angry and I cried a lot reading this! It was an emotional rollercoaster but I wouldn’t change it for anything. It was simply perfect. If I had to describe the perfect contemporary slow burn romance it would be exactly this book. Definitely among my favorite books this year!!! ——————second read: still as in love. Giggled like a child at Christmas the entire time. This was exactly the palette cleanser i needed to start my fantasy month. 5

Rezension von Ansodescribe this book in a few words? simple: too damn long. there was no reason for this to drag out for nearly 600 pages. and apart from that the characters were freaking annoying most of the time and the storylines were just so over the top dramatic but then resolved without a real climax ( <spoiler>like Rose's illness. we knew nothing would happen to her - there were after all arouns 250 pages left at that point. or what real purpose did Rose's cousins serve? they added literally nothing substantial to the plot since they appeared both maybe what 2-3 times each? </spoiler> . the dialogues were crinch-worthy and reading in general just felt seriously awkward at times. sure, there were some nicely written scenes, especially in the beginning. but the length definitely made the quality take a huge hit. so really it comes down to my opening words: it was just too damn long!
