Runaway bride April's wedding escape leads her to a Scottish isle – into the arms of sinfully tempting Euan MacLeod, surf instructor and player. Yearning for adventure, she proposes a one-night stand. But as passions ignite, Euan risks losing more than his beloved camper van…Can this wild fling evolve into a love strong enough to anchor them both? It’s a nice and fast read with some spice. It’s predictable like most cozy romances but it has its own charme and some banter. I read the book for a prompt, where the action takes place primarily in spring but unfortunately the book didn’t gave me any springy vibes despite the cover. Probably because it’s set in Scotland and seasons up there are a little bit different ;-) I am not sure if I really connected with April but I liked Euan. I also really like the parts about the Scottish scenery and the many mentions of the Scottish Gaelic language. ‘An talla, what does that mean?’ April asked. Euan snorted. ‘The hall. Gaelic is a language about place. Well, and a hall is a hall, after all. Shall we?’
