Local Woman Missing by Mary Kubica was a really gripping and emotional read for me. What stood out the most was how the story slowly revealed the truth through different perspectives, especially as the timelines came together. At first, everything felt confusing and unsettling, but that actually made the ending more powerful because all the pieces finally made sense. One thing I kept thinking about while reading was how fear and control can impact people’s lives. The way the characters experienced trauma, especially Delilah, really showed how deeply situations can affect someone mentally and emotionally. It made me reflect on how important safety, trust, and support systems are—something that connects a lot to what I’m learning about trauma-informed care. Overall, the book left me feeling shocked but also thoughtful. It wasn’t just a mystery—it made me think about human behavior, relationships, and the long-term effects of trauma. It’s the kind of story that stays with you even after you finish it.

Priya Rezension von Priya

This book was great but not the best one I've ever read. The plot twist was hinted at too soon and that's why it didn't hit as hard as it could've. The last plot twist was great tho. It was really tragic and sad and my heart aches.

Wow, I wouldn’t exactly say it was the best read since it was kinda irritating and hard to understand because of the different years and people, but in the end I did enjoy the story and the twist end

Peggy Payne Rezension von Peggy Payne

Wow! I read this one in its entirety today because I just couldn't put it down. So many twists and turns keep you guessing in this book. And the end just left my jaw dropped, saying, "WTF!?"
