Laila RegaladoReviewed by Laila Regalado

What initially inspired me to study yoga was it's ethics, it's morals; Non-Violence, Truthfulness, Discipline, Abstinence. The philosophy of yoga is rich and full of beauty. The asanas, to me, came after understanding the core of what makes a yogic life. In Iyengars book you will find both; The beauty of the ethics, of living a yogic life, and the practice of asanas, beyond the poses. It's a wonderful book not only for Yogis, but also for those with a vested interest in spirituality, and a certain curiosity of what makes a holistic life.
