Reviewed by Vanessa🦋Paula has managed to stay away from her ex for 1 year. Suddenly she has to write an article about him that sheds light on all his facets. But how can she do this without falling in love again? - After reading and loving Lessons in Faking, I was very excited to see what happens next with Paula and Henry. What can I say? I love the dynamic between the two of them. Humorous, quick-witted, loving. The relationship between them feels real, like it all really happened. Paula is a strong protagonist who grows beyond herself over the course of the book and learns to stand up for herself. Henry also makes a wonderful development, which was already hinted at at the end of volume 1. The author's writing style is fluent and easy to understand. At the beginning it was unusual for me that Paula has words/short phrases in Spanish. However, I quickly got used to this. - To summarize, I really loved this book and devoured it in an afternoon. I just couldn't and didn't want to put it down. If you like Ex to Lovers and Slow Burn, this book is perfect for you. Definitely my highlight of the year so far.
Reviewed by SamanthaIch liebe die Bücher der Autorin. Sie hat einen so tollen und leichten Schreibstil! Man fliegt durch ihre Bücher und trotzdem ist die Tiefe da. Das Buch hat mir richtig gut gefallen, und das nicht nur weil es auch um Fußball geh!!! Kann es weiterempfehlen. Nur schade das es nur aus ihrer Perspektive ist, an manchen Stellen hätte ich schon gerne die von Henry mal gehabt.
