I expected a lot more from this book because, honestly, I was bored most of the time.I broke up after 65%… Tella is just not a character I enjoyed reading about, and Dante wasn’t particularly interesting either. I absolutely loved the first book, Caraval, but this one never reached the same level for me. The one thing that kept me going was Jacks. He was the only character who made the story exciting, and I was so happy whenever Julian and Scarlett showed up. Don’t get me wrong the book isn’t bad. It just never captured the same magic and excitement that Caraval had. Maybe part of the problem is that it’s hard for me to switch to Tella’s perspective after spending an entire book with Scarlett. And honestly, I still don’t understand why Stephanie Garber won’t even give Scarlett and Julian a novella. 💔 Sorry, not sorry, but I’m still a little mad about that.

ohne Spoiler: Ich persönlich bin ohne Erwartungen in das Buch reingegangen, genau wie bei Caraval auch, wobei ich bei diesem Teil nicht so verzaubert wurde wie beim Ersten. Ich habe das Buch gelesen und bei der Hälfte habe ich immernoch auf den Spannungsaufbau gewartet. Dann wurde ich aber positiv überrascht und es wurde stetig besser. Zwischendurch dachte ich mir immer wieder was lese ich da gerade, aber dann wurde es wieder spannender und konnte es nicht weglegen. Insgesamt eine sehr gelungene Geschichte, obwohl das Ende etwas verwirrend war. Ich hoffe dass Finale die Magie von Caravak zurück bringt.

I loved everything in my opinion Caraval was good but legendary was WAY better I can't wait for Finale the banter between tella and Dante was chef's kiss reminded me of Kai and paedyn in powerless

Ich brauch eigentlich gar nicht viel zu sagen… Wenn man Caraval mochte, mag man Legendary mit Sicherheit auch. So war es zumindest bei mir. Es hat mich definitiv nicht enttäuscht🤭✨
