Rezension von Mbooks 🥰🤭🫶🧸📖📚Again, such an addictive read. I loved the storyline and the plot twists, especially the romance towards the end. Overall, the love triangle in this series is sooooo much better than the one in The Inheritance Games. Personally, I liked the first book more, which feels almost criminal (😉🤭) to admit, because I know it had more to do with the mood I was in while reading than the actual content. Either way, I can't wait to read the third book🫶🥰🤭

Rezension von Kinga Hernik3.25/3.5⭐️ The book had its highs and lows. It was very very similar to the first one. The pacing was slow and there were many pages where basically nothing happened. The case and storyline/plot reminded me of the first book so it felt repetitive. The books need faster pacing and a more gripping plot. The characters felt still pretty dull. The only characters we know a little about are Cassie and Dean. The other ones are kept very superficial which I find is a real shame. I wish the pacing of the love triangle would also be better. But overall I liked the story and at some point it got more I interesting. And I want Cassie to be with Michael not Dean
