Rezension von NicoleRegency-Romance lese ich zwischendurch unheimlich gerne. Als der Verlag "How to Lose a Lord in 10 Days" vorgestellt hat und ich gelesen habe, worum es geht, brauchte ich nicht lange zu überlegen. Für mich stand sofort fest, dass ich es unbedingt lesen muss. Und ich habe es auch nicht eine Sekunde lang bereut. Ich war vom ersten Satz im Buch angekommen und konnte es gar nicht mehr aus der Hand legen. Ich habe das Setting einfach nur geliebt, genau wie auch die Protagonisten. Beim Lesen hatte ich fast die ganze Zeit ein dickes Grinsen im Gesicht. Der arme Lord Ashford, der tat mir doch hin und wieder ein wenig leid … Was Lydia so mit ihm angestellt hat, mega … Aber auch Lord Ashford konnte sehr gut austeilen. Die beiden haben sich aber auch wirklich nichts geschenkt. Ich hatte so viel Spaß beim Lesen. Wer einmal eine etwas andere Regency-Romance lesen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Der Schreibstil hat mir richtig gut gefallen. Er ist voller Humor, bildhaft und mitreißend. Es war zwar mein erstes Buch von der Autorin, aber bestimmt nicht das Letzte. Jede Frau in England wäre überglücklich, den begehrten Junggesellen Lord Ashford heiraten zu dürfen. Er ist reich und sieht sehr gut aus. Doch keine dieser Ladys ist in den Augen seines Vaters die Richtige, darum macht er unvorbereitet ausgerechnet Miss Hanworth einen Heiratsantrag. Doch diese möchte nur aus Liebe heiraten. Sie hat genau 10 Tage Zeit, sich aus dieser Verlobung zu befreien, und dafür tut sie so einiges …
