Rezension von SarahGod of Ruin is a hauntingly intense read that draws you deep into its dark atmosphere. The emotional depth is striking, balancing brutality with moments of unexpected tenderness. The characters feel real, and their dynamic is layered with tension, obsession, and slowburn intensity.
Rezension von Liyah📚4.75⭐️ … I feel so bad because I honestly had to force myself to read this because I was simply not that interested in their story. But Landon and Mia??? I fear they’ve just outdone them all. Landon pissed me off so much because of how he treated Cecily and genuinely used everyone like pawns on a chess board in the worst way, but he flipped the whole thing around thank god. I love them together. Her being his muse >>> Him being the one she can finally open up to properly>>> yesyesyes. They just complimented esch other so well and idk it just works perfectly. I saw a review where someone said this book is just like mixing god of wrath and god of malice but I honestly don’t see it. Landons character is so different from Killians and the relationship dynamics can also not be compared. Landon is so different when he’s with Mia but in a way where it still fits his character so well. Honestly I did not expect anything going into this one and I’m extremely positively surprised. Communication skills >>>> I love. From both of them. Obviously they had their issues but I love that they (mostly Landon tho I must admit) worked on staying together and work everything out instead of breaking up and ignoring each other. Loved seeing Kyle and Rai again😝 AND THE DIALOGUE OMG I’D DIE FOR THIS. YES. I LOVE TO SEE ENGAGEMENT DONE PROPERLY OH MY GOD. Btw I knew Maya would piss me off. I really want to know more about her and Ilya and I also don’t hate her. But I knew she’d pull some shit. And I’m sooo excited to finally get to Nikolais and Brandons story💃🏽
Rezension von SandyDer Roman erzählt erneut von einer Beziehung zwischen den Royal Elites und King’s U, diesmal mit Mia und Landon im Mittelpunkt, deren Perspektiven – besonders Landons – neue Einblicke bieten. Der Einstieg gelingt wie gewohnt schnell, unterstützt durch bereits bekannte Charaktere und das vertraute Setting der Legacy of Gods-Reihe. Mia überzeugt als starke, stumme Protagonistin mit traumatischer Vergangenheit, während Landon brutal und dominant auftritt, auch wenn ihre Dynamik mich weniger fesseln konnte als die der vorherigen Paare. Die Grundidee um Mias Trauma ist spannend, wird jedoch am Ende etwas zu unspektakulär aufgelöst. Insgesamt bietet der Band aber gute Unterhaltung, bleibt für mich jedoch der bislang schwächste Teil der Reihe. Für Fans der Reihe ist es dennoch lesenswert.
