Rezension von Anna"Flawless" ist genau das, was ich mir erhofft hatte: eine schöne Cowboy-Romance mit ordentlich spice aber auch etwas Tiefe. Rhett setzt jedes Mal sein Leben aufs Spiel, wenn er sich auf einen Bullen setzt. Summer hat bereits um ihr Leben gekämpft. Als Rhett vor laufender Kamera einem Reporter ins Gesicht schlägt setzt ihm sein Manager dessen Tochter vor die Nase. Summer soll ihm helfen, sein Image wieder aufzupolieren und Schadensbegrenzung zu betreiben. Dabei gibt es eine wichtige Regel: ihr lasst eure Hände voneinander. Das gelingt natürlich überhaupt nicht, denn die beiden verbringen praktisch jede freie Minute miteinander und bereits beim ersten aufeinandertreffen wird die Spannung zwischen den beiden klar. Und ich habe alles davon geliebt. Das Necken, das Aufziehen, das Ärgern und doch auch die Gespräche, die die beiden führen. Sie öffnen sich langsam gegenseitig, doch beide behalten letztlich ihr tiefes Inneres für sich. Und das hat mich letztlich daran gehindert 5 Sterne zu vergeben. Die letzten wichtigen Gespräche blieben aus und gerade diese wären so wichtig gewesen, um am Ende die Dramatik etwas abzuschwächen. Es wäre so einfach gewesen und doch haben sie sich dagegen entschieden. Das fand ich einfach schade und irgendwie nicht so erwachsen, wie die beiden mir vorgekommen sind. Dennoch habe ich es sehr genossen sie zu begleiten. Sowohl Summer als auch Rhett näher kennen zu lernen und ich habe mich sofort in die Eaton Jungs verliebt. Deshalb wird es sicher nicht lange dauern, bis ich den nächsten Teil inhaliere.
