Rezension von Monika I don't know what I expected but I was... disappointed. And not because it was a bad book. The blurb promised to follow Elio and Oliver in later years, but the first half of the novel is literally Elio's dad 10 years after CMBYN meeting and courting a much younger woman and I just couldn't get on board with that. The structure of the book and writing style were good and all, I really wanted to love this. Almost DNFed it at least 3 times during that first half. I picked up momentum after but it was too late.
