Rezension von JenniferFaint Hearted by Leia Stone and Julie Hall is the second book in the Cursed Fae series, and it definitely meets the expectations set by the first book. "I was acutely aware of my disadvantages, but I believed what I lacked in physical strength could be made up for in wit, intellect, and a heavy dose of my magical ability." The story follows Aribella, the princess of the Fall Court in Faerie. Because of her heart condition, her parents have always been overprotective. But when Dawn doesn't return from her mission in Cold Hearted, Aribella is forced to step up. Despite her health issues and lack of training, she sets out on a dangerous journey to Ethereum to get the black heart of a Lord. I really enjoyed Aribella's character. Her determination to overcome her limitations and show everyone she's capable was inspiring. Her relationship with Stryker, the guarded Lord of Ethereum, was captivating. Their enemies-to-lovers story is filled with fun banter and heartfelt moments that kept me interested throughout the whole book. Overall, Faint Hearted was a read that kept me so hooked, that I couldn't put it down and had to read it in one go. It combines adventure, romance, and personal growth in a way that keeps you turning the pages. I highly recommend reading the books of the series in order to fully enjoy the story. I can't wait for the next book!
