Tory Brennan has a lot on her mind. She must battle an enemy in court, but without the support of her best friend, Ben, who isn't talking to her after a huge recent argument. And the rest of her Virals gang have problems too, with their unique powers becoming gradually wilder and less stable. But when two of her classmates are kidnapped, and a ransom video shows them held in a terrifying dungeon, Tory decides that enough is enough: now is the time for the Virals to forget their arguments and work together.
