Rezension von NalaBride war für mich der perfekte Einstieg in das Genre! Das Buch liest sich super locker und schnell weg. Mein Highlight war die Liebesgeschichte zwischen den beiden, die Chemie hat einfach total gestimmt. Gegen Ende gab es für mich aber leider ein paar Abzüge: Das plötzliche Schlussmachen im letzten Drittel fand ich total unpassend und das schnelle Wiederzusammenkommen irgendwie unlogisch. Auch die Story um Serenas Verschwinden wurde mir zu oberflächlich abgehandelt. Erst wird so eine grosse Sache daraus gemacht und am Ende geht die Auflösung viel zu schnell. Trotzdem eine gutes Buch, dass ich empfehlen kann.
Rezension von LenschHm, ich war etwas enttäuscht und hatte von Ali Hazelwood mehr erwartet. Alle Bücher, die ich bisher von ihr gelesen habe, haben mir gut gefallen. Der Anfang las sich auch echt gut und ich war sehr schnell in der Story. Die Spannung zwischen den beiden MC war sehr gut beschrieben. Leider ist das Buch ab dem ersten intimen Moment einfach schlecht geworden. Die Szenen haben komplett überhand genommen und teilweise sogar deplatziert gewirkt.

Rezension von toniwieso dachte ich so lange, dass ali hazelwoods bücher cringe sind? habe gefühlt die time of my life verpasst 😭 (immerhin hab ich jetzt noch viele bücher von ihr, die ich lesen kann) war sehr obsessed mit diesem buch, die mischung aus fantasy und romcom hats mir echt angetan! auch der aufbau dieser kleinen found family, die sich über die zeit entwickelt hat, fand ich sehr sehr süß und sehr realistisch dargestellt ich liebe außerdem lowe, er hat komplettes book boyfriend potenzial. das ganze buch ist auch ihrer sicht geschrieben, doch am anfang von jedem kapitel erfährt man seine gedanken und die sind von anfang an einfach eine 10/10. ich liebe obsessed men in büchern und er war definitiv einer davon. auch misery fand ich als charakter toll, sie war endlich mal nicht dieses verweichlichte girl next door, was beschützt werden musste, sondern sie war schlagfertig, eine top hackerin und stand immer für sich und ihre kräfte ein. mehr davon in büchern!! es gibt nur 0.25 sterne abzug weil sich der anfang etwas gezogen hat, das ende dafür aber schnell abgehandelt wurde und bei mir noch so 1-2 fragen offen geblieben sind. außerdem fand ich eine gewisse sache seehr kurios und auch etwas cringe (ich sage nur: knoten…). dennoch bin ich jetzt schon extrem gespannt auf band 2, so wie ich gehört habe, soll dieser sogar noch besser sein 🙂↕️
