I have mixed feelings about this adaptation. The scenes in the Lincoln Tunnel and Stu's face off with Elder were really well done. Trashcan Man's story was nicely done and I am looking forward to seeing more of him. The thing I had difficulty with, about this book, was the pacing which seems quick and moves the story along at a good clip, but I miss the level of detail in the book. In my opinion, any fan of The Stand should give this a read and make up their own mind. My advice is to read the novel first and then read the graphic novel so that the illustrations in this adaptation don't influence your view of the characters.
