Between the lines: Q&A from Fedor Holz

What inspired you to write "All In"?
I wanted to share my journey - from the poker table to becoming a world champion - and show how passion, focus, and the willingness to take risks can change everything. "All In" is meant to motivate people to pursue their goals without compromise.
What did your writing routine look like? Did you have any particular rituals or habits?
Writing was a process of reflection for me. I often took time to put my thoughts on paper without judging them. I usually started by collecting my experiences and then looked at the lessons they taught me. It was all about staying authentic and taking the reader along with me.
What was your first thought when you finished writing the book?
Relief, but also pride. I knew it didn’t just tell my story. It could also help others be bolder, believe in themselves, and truly go "All In".
Which book had the greatest impact on you and why?
A book that had a lasting impact on me was "Thinking, Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman. It showed me how crucial our thought processes and decisions are. Not just at the poker table, but in life as a whole.
What advice do you want to give to your readers with "All In"?
Be brave, follow your passion, and don’t be afraid to take risks. Success comes when you’re willing to give everything, learn from mistakes, and consistently work on yourself - both personally and professionally.
